About the author
Techlun.ch is written by Paul Anderson of Intelligent Content Ltd. Paul is a technology writer and computer scientist based in Nottingham, England. From being a teenager, when his father brought home one of the very first Apple II computers available in the UK, he has had a passion for technology, new ideas and the future. Before becoming a writer he had a varied technology-related career as a software engineer, computer science researcher, university technology transfer officer and project manager.
He was awarded the Computer Science Writer of the Year prize in 2007 (the winning article is published here) and until recently was the technical editor of the JISC Technology Watch service, the university sector’s technology horizon scanning service. Paul’s writing has appeared in Prospect, Computing and a variety of other publications.
In 2008-9 he acted as an advisor to the Web 2.0 Technologies for Learning research project based at the University of Nottingham.
